Busy Little Monkey

I have been such a busy lady these last few days. So much going on and still getting nothing accomplished. Well that is not entirely true! I did get a desk. now I can focus.. Hard to focus in a rocking chair and a tv stand.. I guess I accomplished something after all!

What Mommy Needs

One day after a very strained day with the kids I sat and wrote this...

WHAT MOMMY NEEDS 

 In a day full of tasks and deeds, 

No one knows what mommy needs. 

 Mommy shouts and begs,

 just do the things I ask you please! 

But no one listens and no one hears, 

Till' mom explodes and causes fears. 

Clean your room and don’t come out!

 Mommy hates to have to shout!

 No one knows what mommy needs

. All mom asks is simple things. 

 She doesn't need them to jump through rings. 

 Just do your chores quietly

 and your homework please, 

 with out any fuss or fighting. 

 And at days end what mommy needs 

 is a cup of joe while mommy reads.

 In her quiet bubble bath, 

fades away her daily wrath. 

 She lets out a sigh 

with a tear in her eye 

This is just what mommy needs.
